My goal in campaigning for School Board is to help our community focus on intellectual and emotional growth.

I envision our district as a destination town for families who want to see their children grow and thrive in the elementary grades and beyond.

I believe District 200 offers practical and realistic courses for middle school and high school students. We also have and support many school sports; these help students become more invested in their classrooms and community.

Our teachers are important! We need to be cognizant of the amount of time teachers need to prepare, train, and teach. I think our district can and should improve our teacher hiring, training, and retention processes.

I am committed to being your choice for the most practical thinking, professionally experienced, and passionate candidate for school board!

Please consider voting for me. My job is to make sure YOUR voice is heard at the school board meetings.

About me….

Practical ~ School Board members represent the community. I look forward to sharing your concerns and input with the Board. It is better to improve in 5 areas than to be perfect in one.

Passionate ~ I know that education is the one thing nobody can take from you. I want to help all students in our district to grow in their learning and confidence.

Professional ~ I am a Mechanical Engineer. After 7 years working at the oil refinery, I changed my focus to being an involved mom. I later earned my Master’s degree at Bethel University. I am an active substitute teacher (Math 5-12).
